Leadership analogy king of the hill -

“I began to understand that if I beat up everybody there’ll be nobody left to help me. So I’ll not only be a lonely leader, I’ll be an ineffective leader. So I say ‘Hey I better let them come up the hill and join me.’ ”

“Leaders want people to top with them”.
“If a leader is on the top alone with himself or herself, they don’t even fit the definition of a leader.”

Leadership is a process…

a - “The secret of our success is discovered in our daily agenda.”

b - “You can’t call it ‘Roadmap to success’ because success is not a destination, is a journey.”

a - “The key to leading yourself is to learn self-management.”
b - Decision-making is overrated. Decision-managing is underrated.

John says he learned his leadership material from the Bible. -
