In this video Jack Canfield shares a story of his friend who was told by his teacher when he was a young boy that his dream is unrealistic “for a boy like you”.

The teacher once asked the students to write a paper on what they wanted to be when they grow up. This boy got very excited and started plotting out his dream of a the big ranch where he would race horses.

When he submitted the paper(his dream) to his teacher, he received an F and the teacher told the boy that you’re a poor a kid and that what you mentioned is an unrealistic dream for a person living like the way you are.

The teacher, though, gave the boy a chance to write a more realistic dream so he could get a higher grade, but the boy said “You can keep the “F” but I’m keeping my dream!”

The challenge for us is that we get our dreams stolen.

Years later, this boy grew up owning a 240 acre ranch, 4,000 sq. ft. house and having an income of around $6 million!
